"Be prepared and engage with intent. The Digital adoption Institute is an opportunity to expand not only your skillset, but also your support system.”

Heather Wurtz
How did you become a DAP professional?

I became a DAP Professional for a software company (and our customers), as in-app guidance is far more valuable than traditional LMS housed material.

How is DAP used at your company?

We use our WalkMe DAP to deliver valuable information, training, and guidance to employees and customers.

Our greatest achievement has been eliminating confusion within complex processes. This simplification has contributed to a massive improvement in our NPS scores.

"I see great value in connecting to other DAP professionals and WalkMe support personnel.”

What is your experience with the certification course in the Digital Adoption Institute?

I was interested in taking the course in order to compare it to the previous training courses available. Personal and professional development are valuable to me. Also, I have a learning development background, so I was interested in the methodology employed by the L&D team at WalkMe.

My role is Director of Digital Solutions and through my attending I was able to attest its efficacy so that my direct reports (our WalkMe developers) were able to enroll. I also see great value in connecting to other DAP professionals and WalkMe support personnel.

My advice to someone looking to get a certification by the Digital Adoption Institute, is to be prepared and engage with intent. Use this as an opportunity to expand not only your skillset, but also your support system.

How often are you enriching your DAP knowledge?

I continue to learn more with every release of our software and WalkMe’s.

While we build and improve our software, we face new challenges- these often lead to new opportunities to really push our WalkMe builders’ capacity and expertise. WalkMe has been improving in parallel and each new iteration lends itself to a better experience for our developers and in turn, our customers.
